Dates for your diary

Tuesdays 10.00 - 11.30 am Tuesday stalls are back in operation for the summer. Click here for more details.

Home Refreshment : Flying Man Beer is available again for those long hot summer evenings in the garden. Order forms can be found in church. Excellent value at £20.00 per case of 12x500ml bottles.

A special welcome to those visiting All Saints for the first time: We hope that if you are a visitor or newcomer to the town you will make yourself known before you leave the service. Please tell one of the duty team before the service starts if you have children who would like to take part in special activities during the 10.45am service. Coffee is served afterwards. Please feel free to stay if you can.

200 Club After a very successful year where over £600 was added to Church funds and a similar amount given away in prizes the time has come to renew subscription. New members are always welcome and should contact Alec Ramsden for a letter of explanation and an application form.

The Edith Jackson Trust The P.C.C. decided to support this trust and in particular the Rokon Project which is raising funds to build a school in the Rokon district of southern Sudan. In order to further endorse our support for the project, a sum of £1000 pa. is to be given to the project for the next 3 years as a part of our planned overseas giving. Further information about the trust can be obtained by following this link.

Back to Church Sunday: September 28th 2008.  A service at 10.45 am in All Saints Pocklington at which we are inviting Christians to step back inside our church and join in a special service. For more details of this nationwide Sunday please click here.

Oberammergau Passion Play 2010

Another parish in York Diocese is investigating the possibility of a pilgrimage to Oberammergau. They wonder if anyone from the Pocklington group might be interested. Expressions of interest, however tentative at this stage, are needed soon to gauge the likely take-up. If this might interest you, please have a word with me as soon as possible.
