200 Club After a very successful year where over £600 was added to Church funds and a similar amount given away in prizes the time has come to renew subscription. New members
are always welcome and should contact Alec Ramsden for a letter of explanation
and an application form.
The Edith Jackson Trust The P.C.C. decided to support this trust and in particular the Rokon Project which is raising funds to build a school in the Rokon district of southern Sudan. In order to further endorse our support for the project, a sum of £1000 pa. is to be given to the project for the next 3 years as a part of our planned overseas giving. Further information about the trust can be obtained by following this link. Back to Church Sunday : September 28th 2008. A service at 10.45 am in All Saints Pocklington at which we are inviting Christians to step back inside our church and join in a special service. For more details of this nationwide Sunday please click here.Oberammergau Passion Play 2010 Another parish in York Diocese is investigating the possibility of a pilgrimage to Oberammergau. They wonder if anyone from the Pocklington group might be interested. Expressions of interest, however tentative at this stage, are needed soon to gauge the likely take-up.
